Rabbit snares are a great addition to any survival kit or trapping and food gathering kit. We have 3 different varieties available, standard, pegged and snares with Deer stops.

These are made from top quality componants and used by proffessionals the World over. The wire is top quality brass and brass eyelets and in the case of the pegged models they have a figure 4 tealer that allows optimum setting, a seasoned Ash peg and nylon cord.

For survival kits you can't go wrong with standard snares as they are compact and easily packable and you can fashion a peg in the field and put it all together with some paracord. You will, however, need to use a snare with a Deer stop if you intend to use them in Scotland.

In all cases you should check what the law of the land on the use of snares is depending on where you are in the World.
