DEET is the abbreviation of N,N-diethyl-m-toluamide. The name N,N-diethyl-m-toluamide was recently replaced by N,N-diethyl-3-methylbenzamide, but both names are still in use. Care Plus®Anti-Insect Deet is available in the following percentages: 20%, 30%, 40% and 50%. The DEET percentage refers to the active duration of the insect-repellent substance.
