This tripod is a brilliant addition to anyone's kit. It is lightweight in materials but not in strength. It is ideal for hanging your billy/pot over a fire and comes with a chain for adjusting the height you wish to cook at.

It is also collapsible and comes in its own stow bag so it is very packable so there is no need to lug around a heavy steel model. By its nature it is super strong for its overall weight, we don't use these with dutch ovens but we have had one supsended on one of these tripods for a month or so to test out the durability and it suffered no ill effects.
