The Colonial English Style Steel Firelighting Striker is a hand forged striker that is one of those firelighting products that will last a lifetime. Each striker is made of high carbon steel and can used with a piece of flint to light a fire.

Flint and Steel strikers are the "old fashion" way of starting fires. Way back in history this item was one of man's most valued possessions.

When the flint is struck against the steel (or the steel against the flint) in a downward quick motion, a spark is produced. For the best result the flint and steel should be used in conjunction with a prodcut that will catch a spark well like char cloth which can be added to tow and kindling and a fire is the result.

Each striker is around 5 inches long.
