The EKA JoF7 Fixed Blade Knife is a bombproof bit of kit, it is 7" overall with a 3" drop point blade that is 3.2mm thick.

The JOF7 EKA was born of a collaboration between members of the Swedish hunting magazine `Jaktmarker och Fiskevatten` and the skilled craftsmen of EKA. Both use knives on a daily basis when hunting and fishing and as a result the JOF7 is perhaps one of the most usable knives available. The finger grip on top of the blade is a simple device but is ideally placed for thumb or index finger when skinning an animal.

It has a full tang construction with Sandvik stainless blade and checkered wood handles with lanyard hole makes this an all round excellent product for Hunting & Field dressing.

Sandvik 12C27 is the designation of the steel which you find in all stainless knife blades made by EKA.

This is a closely-monitored, high quality Swedish steel specifically developed for knives and surgical instruments.The knife blades are hardened to 57-59 Rc which makes the edge much better than knives from many other leading manufacturers.

A real quality knife that only the Scandinavians can seem to do, a real step above. A great comfort handle shape. I own one of these knives myself and it has given years of service.
