A hexamine stove is great, effiecient way to boil water or cook a meal. Hexymine has been used by the British Forces for donkey's years and they use them every day.

This great little stove is an excellent addition to anybodys' field kit, simply fold out the legs, light a fuel tablet and put your cooking pot or mess tin on top.

Some people don't like these stoves because they think they are messy but they obviously don't know any of the tricks. Hexamine does tend to leave a residue on the bottom of your pans but instead of using a bit of Scotchbright and scrubbing for hours simply use an old tea bag from the Brew you've just made!!

Sounds like an Old Wives tale but an Old Wife showed me the trick years ago and it really does work.
