The Ka-Bar Mark 1 is an excellent addition to the KA-BAR stable and we are very pleased to start stocking it. It is, like all KA-BAR's rock solid in it's construction and is one of thsoe products that goes on for ever. It will really take some abuse and will not need a large amount of maintainence.

It is a knife that was superseeded by the Mark 2 over 60 years ago as Servicemen requested something bigger to use as a fighting knife, the Mark I has now been reproduced in a new guise for the modern market and we really like it. It is a nice manageable size and will serve you for years. 

It is 9 3/8" overall with a 5" 1095 carbon steel blade with a non-reflective black epoxy powder coating.

It is hardened to 56-58 HRC and has a tough black Kraton G handle or a stacked leather handle with a black finish steel guard and pommel.

It also comes with a black Kydex belt sheath for the Kraton handle and a full leather sheath for the stacked leather handle.
