Product Description
Wild Britain is an excellent documentary series presented by British wildlife expert, Ray Mears, exploring the great outdoors.

The six episode series takes a closer look at the countryside and wildlife of Britain today, starting off in the Forest of Dean, in Gloucestershire, one of the UK's few remaining ancient forests. Ray meets with local experts and uses his tracking skills to find species of wildlife, such as wild boar and hazel dormice, in their natural habitats.

Shingle Shore is covered in the next episode where Ray visits the North Norfolk Coast

Breckland of East Anglia is next which is one the Countries least known habitats

Heather Moorlands and Uplands explores the Peak District with Short Eared Owls and Great Crested Newts featuring, amongst others.

Wetlands visits the beautiful Somerset Levels to explore the waterways that are home to Otters and a breeding ground for Herons.

Haymeadow is a really classic British habitat and this episode explores the important link between this precious habitat and some our best wildlife.
