The Spyderco Bushcraft Knife got a bit of a bad press the first time round for some poor selection of handle material; well, this time, they have got it spot on. The G10 scales are impecably finished and I much prefer it in looks to the previous model.
What a great looking knife this is and with an exceptionally comfortable handle and a fantastically high quality razor sharp blade you get a fantastic product.
The Spyderco Bushcraft Knife is a real winner, it is 8 3/4" overall with a 4" blade. The handle is great looking and highly functional G10 and the metal is 0-1 Tool steel.
The G10 handle scales actually make it much more user friendly for all the additional tasks in the field, such as field butchery and game prep., where it is important to have an impervious handle material for hygene.
The blade is made from 0-1 Tool Steel which is noted for its toughness and abrasion resistance, it is 4" long and is 9/64" (3.5mm) thick which makes it a really versatile size and tough!
This is very capable piece of kit and now it has been through it upgrade; after it's rather shakey start it now has a very stable and tough handle material and we are sure it will be better received now it is much more useable.
