The TimberWolf Pup is a new addition to the stable made for us by GM Handmade Knives. It is a smaller knife that is typical of a neck knife but has the added bonus of having a sheath that can also be worn on the belt. This a very limited run and is what we would class as a "guest run", once they are gone they are gone.
The TimberWolf is a an absolute cracker and has been very popluar so this was a natural progression to have a 3/4 size bushcraft knife that stills ticks all the boxes and stick to the original premise of the full size TimberWolf - KISS - Keep it simple stupid!

This knife is, yet again, bombproof. It is strong enough for all those Bushcraft tasks yet sharp enough to skin and use for field butchery. It is Scandi ground so it is dead easy to maintain and a breeze to sharpen.
It is handled in Dymondwood which is shaped to be amazingly ergonomic whatever way around you are holding it. Dymondwood is a great wood to use for this knife as it not only looks great it is very easy to maintain as you simply need to clean it and apply a bit of oil occasionally.
It comes in tough full grain leather sheath which allows you to wear it as a neck knife (ideal for always being there out of the way) or as a regular knife - on the belt
The only difference in materials with this knife and the full size TimberWolf is that the Pup is made with 3mm steel. It is shorter so only needs to be 3mm to maintain the same rigidity and strength.

A 3mm thick and 70mm long Scandi Ground blade etched with the makers mark and the Wolf Paw logo. 155mm overall.

Dymondwood handle scales secured with epoxy resin, Brass pins and a brass lanyard hole. The wood is simply treated in an oil bath overnight for maximum absorption to give a natural weatherproof finish.

Hand stitched 3 to 4mm thick leather sheath .
All in all this is a brilliant piece of kit that would be an asset to anyone's stable and we are glad to be able to bring you an English handmade product that will last a lifetime and perform faultlessly. Please note that the curly birch with differ from knife to knife as it is a completely natural product.
