The Thermalite Ultra self inflating mattress is a cracking bit of kit in the field.

When sleeping out it's not only important to be comfortable it is more important to avoid exposure. The best way to do this is lie on a mat. Your body transmits heat much faster through conduction than it does convection so if you lie on the cold ground without a mat you are at much higher risk of cooling you core temperature much faster, regardless of your sleeping bag.

The Thermalite ultra not only gives you a more comfortable nights sleep it protects against conduction heat loss. It is made from 150 denier Oxford Polyester and bonded with TPU glue. It also comes with 2 stuff sacks and a repair kit (very handy believe me, I stood on one by accident wearing a crampon!! Doh!)
