Product Description
Vulcanised Fibre is a great liner material to use and it is the most commonly used product for good reason. It is always best to use a liner as it helps create a bridge when using glues and resins and helps promote a good bond between the layers of your knife. Not all handle materials bond very well to metal so by using a liner it helps create a stable, rock solid bond between the handle and material.
The other bonus to using a liner is that it can give a very nice decorative finish to your knife. Depending on the liner you choose it can really help compliment the wood you have chosen. For example, a red or blue liner works very well with a bright wood such as Curly Birch.
A Pair will be approximately the same size as an average set of scales (125mm x 40mm) and will be 0.8mm thick.
