Product Description

The Warthog Bushcraft & Survival knife designed by Anton Du Plessis was an instant hit when it cam into stock. It is heavy enough for serious work but so well designed you can do some very fine work with it.

The knife is a very powerful piece of kit with a blade that is 5" (125mm) long but 2 1/4" (57mm)deep at its broadest point. It is hand ground by Staniforths of Sheffield and has an advanced finger groove that allows you to come foward of the handle in saftey for some really controlled fine work. It also has two lanyard holes so you can choose which you prefer to attach a wrist lanyard.

The handle is wonderfully ergonomic and is the sort of design that will be comfortable after hours of use. It is handled with linen micarta which is strong and durable and secured with 3 loveless bolts.

It comes with a black cordura sheath that has a press stud securing strap and an elastic top to secure it in place.

Anton Du Plessis, of Ex Necisstas Training, designed the Warthog after 15 years of excursions into the Wilderness and he now spends his time teaching Bushcraft, Survival and Wilderness courses in Southern Africa. The Warthog was developed for the Anti Poaching Units as an all round utility knife and has been a real success with whatever task you out it to.
