2025 MODEL - Ridgeline Monsoon Classic Waterproof Smock Anorak - Teak
NEW 2025 MODEL
The Ridgeline Monsoon Classic Smock has managed to combine all the best elements of the previous model but made everything lightly simpler and brought it in at a great price.
Breathe easy - the icon has evolved
They say the most important things are generally the ones you can’t see and that’s certainly the case with the new, re-engineered Monsoon Classic Smock. Just like the original, it’s totally waterproof, reassuringly durable and completely windproof.
This latest version, however, offers a huge step forward in terms of “breathability”—or, as the fabric boffins like to call it: Moisture Vapour Transmission Rate. So, however hard you’re working, you won’t get that uncomfortable, clammy, sweaty feeling on the inside of the smock. Which is obviously great news for all the proper grafters (AKA Ridgeline customers) out there.
The 3-layer construction features a brushed polyester outer with a C0 durable water-repellent finish for protection, tear resistance and durability in combination with a warm, soft hand-feel. The rugged, half-length front zip features chunky zip-pullers for ease of use with gloves or mitts. A deep, popper-fastened storm flap keeps wind and rain where it belongs—on the outside.
The large, flap-protected chest pocket offers plenty of storage space for work or outdoor essentials. Two zipped lower pockets provide extra capacity—and a place to warm up your hands on cold mornings.
A deep, wired hood features three adjustment points and provides a close-fitting haven in harsh, windy conditions. When not is use, it simply rolls away into the collar. A tough, adjustable drawcord at the waist fine-tunes the fit and seals in the warmth.
The cuffs are wide enough to allow the sleeves to be rolled up in warmer conditions and feature Velcro-adjustments to cinch them tight to your wrists in the very worst weather.

Brought the Ridgeline Monsoon ELITE Smock as my maine stream waterproof for my Bushcraft and woodland needs. this smock has superseded my expectations on every level. keeps me warm and dry in the harshest of conditions. the only thing I see that could be improved would be small pit vents to help with air circulation.
Exactly as described!
Great product and even better service from the bushcraft store!
Tailored for da weather
Superb protection against the elements - tested at Saint Ninian’s Isle on a blustery February afternoon. Perfectly designed, lightweight and fab hood. Ample chest and front zipped pockets. Chose the Teak colour: brilliant for nature watching at da beach or on da hills.
Brilliant piece of kit!
Comfortable, and windproof
I got this for general gamekeeping work and beating. I've worn it a few days now and love it. On its own it's not the warmest but with a base layer and a wool jumper or gilet it's perfect. The best features for me are the windproof-ness, good hood and the soft feel of the fit as well as the surface material. Whisper quiet when walking and moving. The pockets are well positioned too. I am very pleased with this smock.
