Allen slings are probably the best slings on the market for their versatility and value, the "COBRA" is no exception. It is ideal for either a rifle or a shotgun and is made of Black Neoprene which is great whatever the weather. This particular sling has a wide top which really helps spread the load when carrying a heavier firearm.
I personally think all firearms should be fitted with a sling, except for maybe a double barrel shotgun, as it automatically makes a safe way to carry a firearm cutting down the likelihood of muzzle swiping someone and making it more controlable on the move.
