Benchmade 200 Puukko Knife
I am quite a fan of the new Benchmade 200 Puukko as it offers a good all rounder for the field. It offers a quality alternative to some other products out there and will make a great companion for years to come.
Designed to handle all your adventures in the outdoors, the Puukko combines a classic Scandinavian silhouette with the modern performance you expect from a Benchmade. CPM-3V steel rewrote our standard for toughness, outperforming all other steels in our lineup. The rubberized Santoprene handle make for a comfortable and secure grip for a multitude of tasks. Even the sheath was created with versatility in mind, making it easy to carry with you. Whether it becomes your go to camp knife or your bushcrafting lifeline, the Puukko is made to handle any situation.

A great small belt knife
The sheath is well made, and is a good holster for a Schrade SCHF55, but it does not hold the Puukko, at all, securely.
I use a Condor Bushlore sheath, which works really welI.
The grinds are impeccable, but the secondary grind was done with a toothed wheel leading to a (micro) serrated edge.
It has taken some time to put a smooth feather sticking / carving edge on it. I normally strop away secondary bevels - to a convex edge, creating a mirror finish (on 1095), but CPM 3V is a LOT harder.
In short, a great handle, a great blade.
It is a shame that TBS cannot offer this knife with the same sheath upgrade options as the Ahma Puukko.
