This is a cracker……
The new TBS Low Profile Folding Knife pouch is a brilliant design and we are super happy with. I wore one for my favourite folder for over a week wild camping and canoeing in Sweden and it worked so well. It was completely unobtrusive in and out of the canoe I barely noticed it was there, except when I needed the knife that is!
For this project we decided to go to the foremost manufacturer of gun leather and holsters in Europe and, to be honest, they smashed it out of the park. This is a more low profile design that keeps the knife or multi tool you want to carry sit closer yo your body making it more comfortable and it simply doesn't get in the way at all. It also makes for a more discreet carry of your favourite every day carry This design also has two belt loops on the side which is perfect to stop the pouch moving around on your belt. When you thread your belt through it simply put each loop either side of the belt loop on your trousers and it is not going anywhere. This model is designed to work with a belt up to 2" wide making it perfect for almost any off the shelf or custom belt. There are different sizes or "mouldings" available, the "S" and the "L" are actually the same size but because of the different moulding of the leather it fits different knives and tools.
- The "S" is perfect for a TBS Boar, TBS Badger, most regular Swiss Army Knives and smaller Multi Tool.
- The "L" is perfect for a TBS Fox, larger Swiss Army Knives and Multi Tools like a Leatherman Wave.
- The "XL" is ideal for the TBS Sabretooth and larger folders and Multi Tools
Of course, it is European made in full grain leather which makes it more durable. It does make the pouch a little more than average but we think the trade off is well worth it for the durability and longevity buying something of better quality gives you.
