I am so glad we have started a new Blog. I am going to be posting as regularly as possible with business updates, product updates, new products, deals and much more so I hope I don't bore you to much…!
As way of an introduction to the team, I am Jim and I own and run The Bushcraft Store with a great team of people. We are owner operated and have a small, loyal and hard working team that love the great outdoors and have experienced all sorts of outdoor environments all around the World.
I have noticed, on occasion, that some believe we are part of some great conglomerate or a small cog in a big chain, well not so. We are a small family business of less than 10 people. (Maybe it's because we're so good at what we do it is thought we are so much bigger!!). 
Anyway, the team is Me (obviously), Andy (my business partner), Nina (my wife and partner in life), Doug, Andrew, Matt, Pete, Max, Tom and Emily. Oh, there is also Magnum and Fen as part of the team and they are great at helping boost morale but they just want to lie in the Sun, chase cats and go for a walk in the woods all the time so they are not enormously helpful when it comes to sourcing product, answering the phone, packing parcels or serving customers…
We are a small family outfit that have been dedicated to make the best outdoor business in the Country and have concentrated on high quality brands that are built to last. This has been a key ethos of the business for the past 20 years and, by concentrating on the selected higher end of the market, it not only gives you the customer economy in longevity, we attempt, as best we can to avoid “fast fashion”.
My Sister company is TBS Outdoor where I have striven to design and produce a range of fantastic quality Bushcraft and Outdoor products. This came about as I simply got fed up with a lot of sub standard stuff out there. I am very proud of the TBS brand and we offer such a good range of knives, tools and outdoor gear now that I am sure there is something for everyone who wants quality. It will continue to grow and develop new gear so keep in touch for all the latest updates.
