BPS B1 Bushcraft Knife - Firesteel Edition
The BPS B1 Bushcraft Knife represents fantastic value for money and ticks all the boxes for a Bushcraft Knife. It is a strong, reliable and comfortable knife that will fulfil your Bushcraft needs. It comes in a couple of steel variants for you to choose which works best for you.
B1 CSH (carbon steel)
The Carbon blade is made of 1066 carbon steel, hardened to 57-59 HRC with a Scandi grind and, being Carbon steel, it is the more traditional steel for a Bushcraft Knife but does require a little more maintenance. After use you will need to clean and oil the blade to help avoid corrosion.
B1 SSH (stainless steel)
The stainless blade is made of 5Cr14MoV stainless steel, hardened to 56-58 HRC with a Scandi grind. This makes it easy to work with wood of any hardness and with different temperatures.
The B1 is handled with Walnut which is treated with Danish Oil. Walnut is a fantastic wood to use as it is so durable and simply needs re-oiling occasionally to keep it in tip top condition.
The knife comes with a leather sheath with a dangler.

Simple solid knife
The knife seems well made without distinction. Not as smartly crafted as more expensive options but it is everything it needs to be and seems solid. I’m very happy with it and will now use it in place of my mora garberg. Mostly because i prefer the asthetic.
Great value, useful and well made. Firesteel is actually an enhancement rather than a gimmick
My second knife. Honed nicely, comfortable grip (not too chunky like other inexpensive bushcraft knives). Blade is stout and durable as far as I've seen with admittedly minimal use so far. The sheath is nicely made too. Overall really impressed with the value of this bit of kit.
Fantastic spark from the firesteel, although striking with the back of my knife isn't usually my preferred option - why introduce a blade into a situation where it isn't essential - but it's good to keep together in an emergency.
Great value for money
For the money this is a great knife well made great leather sheath with a fire stick. There no need to spend a fortune when there are reasonable priced knives out there
Excellent knife great craftsmanship perfect fit and finish and razor sharp you won't be disappointed with this knife
Great bushcraft knife for a unbelievable price
