BPS BS3 Bushcraft Knife
The BPS BS3 Bushcraft Knife represents fantastic value for money and ticks all the boxes for a classic Bushcraft Knife. If it looks familiar you may be right, it is reminiscent of another knife on the market......
BS3 CSH (carbon steel)
The Carbon blade is made of 1066 carbon steel, hardened to 57-59 HRC with a Scandi grind and, being Carbon steel, it is the more traditional steel for a Bushcraft Knife but does require a little more maintenance. After use you will need to clean and oil the blade to help avoid corrosion.
The BS3 is handled with Walnut which is treated with Danish Oil. Walnut is a fantastic wood to use as it is so durable and simply needs re-oiling occasionally to keep it in tip top condition.

A beautiful knife
I first heard mention of this knife when one of my favourite Youtubers highlighted it. Bjorn-Andreas Bull Hansen, who specialises in country life, bush craft and Viking lore, had recently purchased this knife. His initial assessment was that he is impressed, and will do a more thorough review of it in a subsequent episode. I looked online for other reviews, and what I found was very positive.
It is a beautiful knife, well weighted, and looks to be very useful for a variety of tasks.
