The only shortfall for water filters is that the dirtier the water you put through the system the harder it is to process and the less time the filter lasts. Well this is where the Pre Filter Bag comes in. It is essentially a "Pre-Filter" to get rid of larger particulate matter prior to filtering.

This is made for the Grayl Ultrapress and does not fit the Larger Geopress. This will maximize the longevity of your Grayl system. You are advised to hand wash with light soap before use and hang to dry. While in the field, rinse it out of any dirt and allow to dry in direct sunlight.
