The only shortfall for water filters is that the dirtier the water you put through the system the harder it is to process and the less time the filter lasts. Well this is where the Pre Filter Bag comes in. It is essentially a "Pre-Filter" to get rid of larger particulate matter prior to filtering.

An old school item for some new school kit. Millbank bags have a long history of removing large particles from water and have been in use in the field for decades. It has a 2 litre capacity.

For best results, pre-soak the bag for several minutes to expand the cotton fibres. Hang the bag and fill with water source, collect water as it filters through bag, then boil the water or use your preferred purification method. Hand wash before use.
