DD Hammocks Hiking Pole
If you've spent anytime walking in the hills, long distance walking or carrying heavy backpacks then a pair of walking poles can prove invaluable. I have used poles for years and they are especially good on downhill slopes as they help balance and take some of the weight off your leg joints.
Of course, I have also used them as a substitute for a tent pole. I was on a course and in the first night of a long exped and found that the tent I had been issued had a pole missing! Not a problem, as I just used my walking poles...
Multi-use, tough, practical
A comfortable hand grip and wrist strap make it a helpful companion for you when the trail gets tough. A removable trekking basket and tip protector means you can also fix it into the ground to use as a tarp prop, without any sharp ends to worry about.
2 twist-locks give the pole plenty of adjustable height: support a tarp-tent from beneath, or use it as a peg-out point when trees are scarce! Perfect for days up in the hills, this collapsible pole extends to 135cm and easily doubles up as a support for your tarp.
