DD Solo Tarp Basha - 2.8m x 1.5m
The DD Solo Tarp is the same construction as the very popular regular Tarp but it is smaller making it ideal as a single man shelter or to give you that little bit more lighter weight for solo camping. It is a great size at 2.8m x 1.5m (approx. 9' x 5') making it a very useable shelter.
It is ultra light but tough and has 19 attachment points making it really versatile, as you and I know - "That tree is never in the right place!" Not a problem any more as you can simply use a different attachment point.
It is the new, lightest and most compact tarp is aimed at those travelling ultralight, sleeping on the ground or looking for a 'day' tarp.
Please note for comfortable hammock camping we recommend our 3x3 Tarp (this Tarp Solo is on the small side for using with hammocks *). We have received alot of requests for a small 'day' or ground dwellers tarp which is what this Tarp is most suited to.
This one person Tarp weighs in at just 490g! 2.8m long x 1.5m wide. As with our other olive tarps there are 19 reinforced attachment points allowing a vast number of setup options. Perfect for those looking to travel light. As well as protection from the rain the tarp can also be used as a groundsheet.
The fabric is PU (3,000mm) coated polyester. Seams are taped.
Under cover
I have a 4x4, 3x3 and now this 2.8x1.5m. I bought it as a lightweight/smaller size alternative to have as a day shelter along side my 1 man tent. It does exactly what I need it to. My only drawback with it is, when using it with my walking sticks, it’s a bit limited to workable configurations. But that may just be me.
Well made
This well made robust, lightweight, tarp will be anchored via the roof rack on my van and will give cover over the back doors in a sloping awning style.
