The DD SuperLight Tarp is essentially the same as the regular tarps it is just that it is made from the super strong, super light wieght materials. It has 19 attachment points like the other tarps which allows it to be set-up in hundreds of different ways!
It can be used as a hammock tarp, set-up on the ground as a 'tent', group shelter and many more uses!
Weighing only 460g and packing up very small it is ideal for anyone looking to cut their pack weight down to an absolute minimum. Made from strong ripstop nylon with PU 3,000mm coating (completely waterproof even in the heaviest storms).
Like all of DD tarps it is fully waterproof and taped along the central seam.
Fantastic size and weight and amazing quality
Already have the DD tarp but wanted something smaller and lighter that offered the same coverage and quality of product. This didn’t disappoint.
Great DD Product
I previously owned a DD 3m x 3m black tarp. And this was purchased as an upgrade, the product's packed size is about 30% of the original 3m x 3m, which is a huge bonus as it means more space in your backpack. And the weight is almost nothing compared to the older one.
I would highly recommend this product if anyone is looking to upgrade, the only downside is limited colours. However that is down to DD Hammocks.
