A pared down version of the Flexcut multi-bladed pocket carving tool, the Whittlin' Jack is still a great tool to carry around for when the opportunity arises for some whittling or woodcarving. Perfect for carving any time or anywhere, the 'Jack' has two razor sharp knife blades honed and ready for use.

I purchased this as a Xmas present. I was a little concerned about the price, but receiving the whittling knife I was over the moon (money well spent). The packaging was gift worthy and the quality exceeded expectations. I’m sure this gift will be well received.
Perfect pocket sized gift
Really love the design and style of the whittling knife
No need to worry
My reason for the title is because of the type of a few online reviews, not necessarily on here but elsewhere. In which a theme developed around concerns over build quality of the knife itself. Poor finish, hard to open and use, flaky veneer panels and a few other small niggles. Only a couple of times did I see any negative reviews about the blades and I don’t give any credit to those. One major reason for picking the bushcraftstore is their experience with knives and blades I trust a company like them to do any final QC at their end . All I can say is, I now have this knife in my hand and I couldn’t be happier. I have many fixed blade whittling tools but all are not EDC due to current laws in the UK, well this whittling Jack by Flexcut is fully legal edc. The two blades are faultless, fit and finish is excellent and with care I see this getting much use and creating many projects
The best
I have many carving knives, chisels, both palm and standard, even an opinel 120 and 106 which I have used in the past, but now because of stringent knife laws in the uk even a flexcut roughing knife is illegal because it’s a fixed blade, this knife has both blades under 3 inches and they are none locking, similar though different from the fixed roughing and detail knives they stand on their own merit, I couldn’t be happier. I’ve rubbed the side wooden inlays with oil and it looks amazing, no play, and razor sharp, brilliant tool
