Gerber Shard XL Multi Tool
The Gerber Shard XL is super useful tool and perfect when a little leverage is required. I wince when I see people use their knives or any other unsuitable tool to pry and lever, it's the easiest way to break your most useful tool.
If you think this pry bar is a little…extra… you’re not wrong. The Chonk offers you an extra hand or extra leverage, this sturdy 4” pry bar checks all the utility boxes with 5 additional tools built into the design, ensuring the problem is removed and the job is completed. The Chonk houses 6 total tools, including: pry bar, nail puller, wire cutter, large flathead driver, small flathead driver, and a bottle opener. For convenient carry, it also has a deep carry pocket clip and a key ring lanyard hole.

Pry bar...
Great little pry bar, handy to have the screwdriver function as well.
Best for actual pocket prying
So I use this in conjunction with my We Knife Gesila Pry Bar which costs three times as much, and it's the Gerber I keep reaching for. The prongs of the pry are thin enough for small screws as well as to open up everyday items kile a keyring, a doorbell, and even a glasses screw, with enough separation between the two prongs to get into little devices. As the prongs are curved too it is super useful to get under small clips etc to open them too, unlike most pocket pry bars that are straight pronged.
The bottle opener isn't amazing as being so broad it doesn't catch between the crowns on a bottle cap so can slide off, but it gets the job done.
Size wise this doesn't look all that sleek but it is still thin enough to fit unnoticed in my pocket. Lengthwise it is fine in my size M hand and I've had no problems using it. Even with the deep carry pocket clip it doesn't sit so deep in my pocket to cause discomfort - the slightly longer We pry bar can dig in when I'm on my bike as it is slightly longer. I know it is steel rather than titanium but I can't feel weighing down my pocket let alone any weight difference,
It's also so cheap compared to the titanium pry bars I can lose or abuse this worry-free - it's cheap enough just to buy another one. Despite that, the steel is tougher than titanium as my Gerber hasn't even marked the finish but my WE titanium bar is already marked and dinged from prying.
Overall if you aren't regularly trying to pry big heavy objects apart with a small hand tool I think this is the better option for your everyday carry. I'm really impressed with it and it's in my pocket most days,
