Helikon OTS Ultra Shorts - Aero-Tech - Black

I have a few pairs of OTS shorts and love them, these are the next evolution of the shorts, the "Ultra Aero Tech" version. They are very comfortable pair of outdoor shorts, perfect for summer.

Outdoor Tactical Ultra Shorts are designed for long-lasting field use during warm weather. They are a shorter cut but that does not mean limited functionality. We designed the OTUS Shorts to retain as many features and solutions as possible from the full-length version - the OTP (Outdoor Tactical Pants).

The outer layer is protected with a hydrophobic coating which means this surface treatment increases resistance to dirt and moisture penetration. As a result, the shorts are easier to care for and retain their properties for longer, even with intensive use. 

Helikon's experts equipped the OTUS Shorts with 10 functional pockets. The front pockets feature reinforced edges allowing you to safely carry clip-on gear, such as a multitool or flashlight. 

The thigh pockets feature two pockets fastened with YKK® zippers which can fit larger EDC accessories. The back pockets are two classic wide pockets with two narrow pockets inside, designed for any small essentials you need to keep close at hand. 

There is an accessory pocket which is designed with a phone in mind. It can also be used to carry small pieces of outdoor gear.   

The highly functional construction support the shorts' ergonomics with a waist adjustment  Instead of a button, Helikon use a hook-and-loop closure with up to 6 cm of adjustment, while the elastic tape at the back of the waistband improves fit.  Wide belt loops with additional loops  Compatible with belts up to 50 mm wide. The front loops allow you to secure small items with a carabiner or cord.  Ergonomic cut  The shorts are designed to move with you. AeroTech is a lightweight, breathable fabric designed for intense movement in higher temperatures. It effectively wicks moisture away, supports ventilation, and helps maintain thermal comfort during physical effort.

Thanks to their low fabric weight, the shorts perform well during long hikes, ascents, and hours of outdoor activity.
