The Woodsman Pants are created specifically for bushcraft and outdoor enthusiasts. These simply cut, yet versatile pants are a great example of the minimalist approach to this type of clothing.
They are equipped with four pockets - two at the hips with reinforced edges and two smaller, placed aside, slightly at the back. You can carry a folding saw or knife in them. The wide belt loops will work with belts up to 50 mm wide. Additional loops are used to attach gloves or secure items worn in the side pockets. Knee reinforcements, which are also pockets for pads, and the use of strong DuraCanvas® fabric to sew these pants, guarantee that Woodsman pants will serve you faithfully for many years.

Perfect, comfortable fit
I was concerned the fit might be restrictive but the cut is perfect for free movement. They feel like they were tailor-made (I’m 6ft and 17st with 38-40 waist- these are 38 and come with 32 leg as standard). The material is quiet but strong and lightweight. The stitching is robust and I’ll definitely be getting the matching anorak.
Woodsman trousers
I have these in green, but now I’ve got my hands on the brown I particularly love this colour too. Great trousers loads of really good features, proper hardware.
If I was to be slightly picky. I’d say for my tastes. They’re a little bit baggy.
Great trousers but there are issues
The fly zip is too short. You'll have to undo your trousers when you have to pee. Velcro waist band is quick to unfasten but inconvenient, Also, I have a 30" inside leg but, as with most other clothing manufacturers, these only come in 32 or 34" inside leg. That aside these are my second pair of woodsman trousers, my first pair are still going strong after many years of use. The sizing is accurate, the pockets are many and well thought out but there are no back pockets. Overall a good pair of trousers with but with a few minor faults.
