Helko Traditional Collection - Black Forest Hatchet

OUR PRICE: £49.95
Product Description
The traditional collection from Helko is simply brilliant & represents Helko's elite series of axes. From years of experience Helko have made a fantastic range at brilliant value and I am amazed they can make such a quality product for the price. The handles on this range of axes are all Swiss made and are brilliantly comfortable and help Helko's axes represent a perfect companion when in the forest.

They chop extremely well and hold an edge for a prolonged period of time due to Helko's forging and hardening process. They are easily comparable to the well known brands on the market today and surpass them in some ares.

The Black Forest Hatchet has a traditional wide-bit German woodworker blade. These hatchets are made in Wuppertal, Germany, near the country's famous Rhein River Valley. The Rhein was a historically significant source of trade and growth for civilizations in the region throughout the early and later medieval periods. Cutting axes like these were a daily necessity for people carving out towns and villages in heavily forested regions along the Rhein River Valley. The wide blade makes this hatchet exceptionally well suited for cutting work. This axe is the equivilent to a Wildlife Harchet in other ranges.

Comes with a choice of Helko's standard or premium top grain American cowhide 6-7oz leather adjustable sheath.
