The Survival Experts Own Work Gloves
The Fält Guide Glove has become a favourite among mountain guides, ski patrols and other outdoor professionals who spend a lot of their time in the cold and in the open air.
The glove is named after Lars Fält, founder of the Survival School for the Swedish Armed Forces and an expert in wilderness survival. He was looking for a hardwearing, warm work glove and turned to Hestra. The result of this partnership was the Fält Guide Glove, which combines extra tough goatskin leather on the grip surfaces with flexible cowhide on the backhand.
It has a removable liner in wool – nature's own super material – perfect if you spend long days in the mountains and want several dry liners to swap in and out. The design is relatively spacious, allowing plenty of insulating air. A decent workhorse that functions equally well in the mountains and in the forest, and with a little care will accompany you over years of ski tours and outdoor adventure.

- Outseams provide comfort and good grip.

Size guide:
As a general rule if you wear a size 9 shoe then you are a size 9 glove but if you prefer you can use Hestras size guide. Measure the circumference of your hand with a tape measure or a string and a ruler. The size guides are based on average hand dimensions. The sizes should therefore only be seen as a recommendation.

Best gloves ever?
I think these may be the best gloves I’ve ever owned. At first they felt a little bulky but I soon got used to them. The wool liners aren’t itchy and the literally fit like a glove! 100% recommend doing your palm measurement before guessing te size though! Comes with some leather conditioner too, which was a nice touch.
Fantastic quality glove.
I only have one problem with these gloves - they are so nice, so comfortable and so well made that I was a little reluctant to use and abuse them around camp, but they do get well used and well abused, and still look like new. I love these gloves and know they'll stand up to the riggers of bushcraft life for many more years. Thanks TBS
