Hultafors Axes
Hultafors has a strong and proud tradition of making axes that goes all the way back to 1697. (about 300 years before the other guys!!). At Hults Bruk in the County of Ostergotland their Blacksmiths are among the few int eh World who still master the craft.
The Classic axes are forged by hand for high quality axe steel and through repeated pounding the steel is shaped into the axe head. Each strike increases the density of the steel which gives a strong, durable axe that will serve you a lifetime. The next step is the hardening process which creates a distinct hardening zone in which the axe can be re-sharpened many times with the same strength and sharpness.
