The Ledlenser MH10 is the latest evolution of the head torch and I am a big fan. Everything nowadays is going rechargeable with the advent of some truly great battery technology but most products require you to remove the batteries and put them in a special charger - not the MH10. I haven't had this torch long... but I'm throughly impressed so far!
It is really light..... like you you hardly notice your wearing it light. I've already saved a fortune in batteries. Recharging is a breeze.
I'm very wary of manufactures burn time claims, but I'd say this is pretty much where they say it is possibly even a bit better.
The foam framing on the parts in contact with your head make it a real joy to wear, creating a gap for air flow, this may seem trivial but once you wear it you'll notice how such a little thing makes a big difference.
Performance wise... this thing is bright and on wide beam creates a huge comforting circle of light around you with no dark spots, on spot it throws an accurate spotlight a significant distance.
It's easy to adjust, albeit the focus ring could do with being chunkier as you'll never do it with a gloved hand.
Apart from that I cant fault this torch.... really, really impressed.... feels reassuringly robust and looks the part too, plain black rather than some of the offerings that come with various coloured head bands that would make even a power ranger cringe!
