Manly Wasp EDC Pocket Knife - 14C28N - Black G10
The Manly Wasp is simply a great "EDC" as it not only offers great European quality it is fantastic value. I have had one on test for some time now and it has performed exceptionally well.
The Wasp perfectly reflects Manly’s philosophy of offering users a practical everyday pocket knife, made from the highest quality steels and with maximum value for its price.
The Wasp features highly durable G10 handles and has double-sided pocket clip as it can easily be changed depending on your preference of the pocket you carry it in. Simply unscrew it and mount it on the opposite side depending on your preference.
The blade is a stone wash finish that features a thumb nick and is made from 14C28N which we do rate highly as a great stainless steel for strength, edge retention and corrosion resistance which is ideal for a product that sits in your pocket for long periods of time.
The mechanism features 4 steps before being fully open which they have added for additional security. The Wasp is a practical everyday small knife, offering unprecedented quality for its price!

Watch out Spyderco.
Up until now I've always EDC'd some interation of Spyderco UK.
That's just changed. This is better. Much better. Well made. Nicely fair price
14c28n is a good general purpose steel. I did consider the S90V version (if you need long term edge retention buy that version) but having given the matter some thought I prefer relatively easy to sharpen steel.
Decent ergos, Nice blade geometry and I do like the four click safety stops. That reassuring.
