Mariner Tarred Twine (Bank Line) is a brilliant addition to anyone's everyday kit and a perfect addition for any survival kit. It is perfect for all those applications when 550lb paracord is over kill or simply too thick.
Mariner nylon seine twine sets the standard for quality and value as it is made to exact specifications with care. Each tube is fully twisted and carries the proper amount of footage for its weight. Mariner nylon seine twine is a far superior grade of twine of even diameter and strength. Being made of 100% nylon fiber provides excellent resistance to abrasion, oil, gasoline, and most chemicals.
There are three weights available 18 gauge, 30 gauge and 36 gauge depending on your requirements:

- The 18 gauge has 250 feet (76m) on a reel and has a 160lb (75kg) breaking strain. It is approximately 1.5mm thick
- The 30 gauge has 125 feet (38m) on a reel and has a 280lb (127kg) breaking strain. It is approximately 2mm thick
- The 36 gauge has 122 feet (37m) on a reel and has a 320lb (145kg) breaking strain. It is approximately 2.25mm thick
