Mora Garberg with Survival Kit
The Mora Garberg Knife is the first "Full Tang" knife that Mora have produced and we are firmly behind the idea. Mora are one of the best producers of quality knives in the World and it was high time they produced a product like this.
They have certainly done a good job and the Garberg is a creditable alternative to plenty of other full tang knives on the market today.
The Mora Garberg knife is a powerful fulltang knife, designed to withstand the toughest challenges it may face. The blade is 3.2 mm thick and made of high quality stainless steel or Carbon Steel specially treated in Mora's factory to make it even stronger. The blade has a proper Scandi Grind which makes the knife easier to keep sharp. Moreover, the blade back ground to be used with firestarter, so that the vital fire is always close at hand.
Attached to the polymer sheath comes a Survival Kit that has an integrated fire starter and a diamond sharpener. The 3,2 mm thick blade is made of high-quality carbon steel and has a Scandi grind edge profile that makes it easy to keep sharp. The spine is ground to a 90º sharp angle making it compatible with the fire starter. The knife has a DLC-coating that is not just aesthetically pleasing but also resistant to corrosion and scratching. The product is also equipped with a reflex paracord that can be attached to the fire starter.
This Garberg BlackBlade™ with Survival Kit (C) has everything a real bushcraft enthusiast needs, optimized and ready for sudden challenges. Designed to withstand the toughest challenges imaginable, a powerful full-tang knife for your next adventure.
Made to last
It's a Mora.. what else can you say?
A quality knife that's built like a tank..
This will handle anything you throw at it.
In Carbon Steel Black
An absolutely fantastic general purpose bushcraft knife. I opted for the black blade as I prefer not to be blinded when using sharp objects.
This full tang Swedish forged knife is brilliantly balanced, well constructed, loops onto the belt brilliantly, and has a satisfying 'pop' when sheathed correctly, allowing for a tactile confirmation that your blade is housed correctly.
What may not be apparent is that on the sheath itself on the opposite side to the fire steel holder, is actually a fine course sharpening strip. This was a pleasant surprise and made me rather happy as I wasn't aware this shipped with the product. Postage, packaging, and ID checked for UK delivery was just over £100, which is a bargain for a well manufactured essential tool of this calibre. I definitely recommend.
