Mora Wood Carving Basic Knife

The Mora Wood Carving Basic knife is essentially the same as the 106 but has a plastic handle as opposed to a wooden one. It is an excellent carving knife with great control as it has a nice handle, for great grip, and a razor sharp 82mm, 2.7mm thick blade that is easy to maintain.
Mora’s woodcarving knives are well known and appreciated precision tools that are used by wood carvers in Nusnäs, for example. This is where one of Sweden’s most recognized national symbols – the Dala Horse – is carved.
Mora woodcarving knives have a thin, tapered blade of Stainless steel.
This is handled with a really erogonomic plastic handle which is chunky enough to fill your hand to give you ultimate control. It also comes with a plastic sheath for ease of storage and carry.
I already own the mora 106(wood handle version) of this knife but wanted one the plastic handle version to keep in my tool bag. As expected it came shaving sharp and the handle feels sturdy, a little slick for my liking but still good.

Supreb quality carving knife. Although its not as aesthetically pleasing as the wooden handle version, its still comfortable to use and carves beautifully
