The Nebo range of torches are not only great value they are superb quality and amazingly bright.
The Night Commander is a novel idea and goes back to the very useful right angled design. If you prefer you can simply rotate the head to create a regular torch and it is super bright. It will shine at:
- 250 lumens for 3.5 hours and has a 113 Metre range.
- 220 lumens for 2.75 hours and has a 21 Metre range.
- 30 lumens for 6.5 hours and has a 7 Metre range.
- Red - 15 Lumens for 6.5 hours and has a 6 Metre range
- 4 AAA Batteries(Included)
It features a focused high beam light, a flood work light and a red work light making it a truly useful torch. It is constructed of aircraft grade aluminium and is water resistant. It also has a magnetic base for hands free lighting and a convex dual lense with a dual direction steel pocket clip.

A very useful small (ish) torch. The spot and floodlight options are variable output which makes them much more useable than a fixed output light. The red light is useful for very localised use and helps with night vision. The instructions don’t mention this but the red light can be accessed by holding the power button down for 2 seconds, rather than cycling through the white light modes.
The magnet in the base is quite powerful and holds the light very securely, and with the combination of the variable position head makes this a very flexible light. The clip is very strong and holds he light well.
