NEW Mora 164 Single Edged Spoon/Bowl Carving Knife
The Mora 164 is a single edged wood carving knife was already a great product but they have now made it even better as it has been re-designed.
The 164 is a great carving knife for getting into all the nooks and crannies but now features a rounded tip so that old sharp tip doesn't catch you out.
This knife has a single-edged stainless steel blade and comes in right and left handed variants. Of course you don't need to right or left handed to use them as I use both, one to draw cut towards you and the other to push cut away. The back of the knife is not sharp which gives you the possibility to use your left hand to push the blade with your fingers from the back. This blade has the smaller curve of our hook knives.
Mora have optimised the blade to make it run smooth over the inside of the spoon or bowl. Improved edge bevels complete the blade and give it the optimum carving experience. To protect both you and the knife it comes with a simple but effectively designed edge protection cover made from high quality leather.
