NKD Lizard Full Tang EDC Knife - Black Micarta
The Lizard 75 by Nordic Knife Design is a great little fulltang EDC knife. The notched belly offers a very good grip. Regardless of how you hold the knife, the notch serves as a heel for your finger to rest on. As an every day carry this blade can fill most if not all functions. A tapered blade offers a fine tip for detailed work, the long sloping belly offers a decently long cutting edge despite its small stature.
Swedish steel giant Sandviks 12C27 is one of the most used stainless steels in Europe. Used in both hunting knives and kitchenware, this steel is a true performer. Among its peers 12C27 has a great corrosion resistance, good edge retention and is generally seen as a great overall performer.
This handy knife will become an excellent companion in your home, when travelling, on a trip to the park or for camping.
The sheath is made in durable Spanish leather and features a double system for both vertical and horizontal carry. The snap is heavy duty, retention is excellent, and being real vegetable tanned leather.

So far, so good.
I wanted a smaller blade for my everyday activities. This fits the bill... to a degree.
The micarta scales are attractive - and very slick! With your fingers relatively closer to the blade, I would have preferred a textured surface to the handle, something to give confidence of a secure grip.
The blade itself is good and, in terms if size & quality, exactly what I wanted.
The sheath is solid, a hideous colour, kind of oxblood red. And you won't be able to thread this sheath horizontally (in line) through a normal (30-40mm) belt, I could barely get a finger into this opening, so lost some versatility there.
