The Opinel Effilés is renowned for its excellent cutting quality. It is available in a 10cm,12cm &15cm polished ground blade, that is flexible, fine and sharp, so you can cut with precision. The beech handle lends this elegant knife simplicity. Although it's very handy in the kitchen, this is a closing knife that can be carried anywhere thanks to the Virobloc safety ferrule, stamped with the new Effilés logo, locking the blade in the open and closed positions.
The handle is made from durable French orange beech wood, and the Opinel Yatagan blade, with its curved point and round profile, is effective, precise, elegant.

Why spend a huge amount of money for great knives, when you can get an opinel? Best knives I have had for most of life and this one is no exception. Great addition to the kitchen!
