Real Steel Luna Slip Joint Folding Knife

Perfect! Finally found the one

I've had stacks of pocket knives of all prices and steels and never quite found one that was just right.

The Luna is light and slim in pocket but a decent size in hand. G10 without liners is more than stiff enough and reduces weight. There's no flex when squeezing scales with blade open. Nice bit of texture gives some grip.

Pocket clip (which I like) is not obtrusive when you just chuck it in your pocket and quite slim but very strong.

D2 steel is hard and comes sharp, nothing flash but a good solid tool steel. Spine is a reasonable thickness but blade is ground nicely and tapers finely so it's a great slicer. I've made some great feathersticks with it too. Blade shape is perfect for me , its almost puukko-esque with a nice curve and straight along the top to the tip. Nail nick runs length of blade and makes a stud a viable option. Although changes in the UK law regarding devices to enable one-handed opening on knives makes that a greyer area.

The knife is light but super solid. It clicks open with reassurance and there's a nice bit of jimping on the ricasso which isnt a bad idea. I always find the topside jimping a bit redundant..

The black with brass/goldy coloured hardware looks good and its T6 and T8 rebuildable.

The small choil is the only thing I'm not mad on and would rather the edge continue.

It's perfect for a UK daily carry regardless of price it just happens to be a great price too!
