The Tempest Smock from Ridgeline is not only fantastic value it is a tried-and-tested, rugged and reliable formula. It is made from the same tried-and-tested fabric as the best-selling Torrent III Jacket, the Tempest Smock is a hard-working waterproof smock for the very worst weather.

It’s 100% waterproof, highly breathable and completely windproof. The 2-layer fabric features a brushed polyester outer laminated to a technical waterproof/breathable membrane with a loose polyester tricot lining.

It’s an unusual fabric but one that offers some very useful features for the outdoor, sporting or agricultural professional — it’s completely silent and offers far more warmth than your average waterproof. It features a deep hood with two points of adjustment and an extended — and highly protective — visor. The half-length front zip makes it easy to put on or take off and offers extra ventilation on warmer days.

A zipped chest pocket combines with a zipped arm pocket to provide handy storage for a wallet, phone or pocket knife. Zipped kangaroo pockets offer additional storage opportunities and a place to warm up your hands between jobs. Adjustable cuffs and twin adjustable hem drawcords fine-tune the fit and seal in the warmth.
