The Robens Kiowa is simply one of the best Tipi style tents on the market today. It is a perfect combination of quality and value and kicks the butt of some of the other well known brands. The additional features of this tent make it true value for money as you get the same level of quality but there are so many other things included with the Kiowa that you have to pay extra for with other brands.
The porch for example, is a £300, or more option with another well know brand making the equivalent tent more than twice the price. In addition you do not even get a floor included with other brands making this a truly WISIWYG Tent (What you see is what you get).
The stunning Kiowa tipi sleeps up to ten people and provides a large living space and front porch. It has enhanced ventilation and light from the large windows, a tough zip-in groundsheet and the high performance, breathable, HydroTex® Polycotton outer fabric to ensure comfort is maintained in all weathers.
A stovepipe port allows the use of the optional Volcano tent stove so there is no need to start cutting holes in the tent and paying extra for a flashing kit. There is also a two bedroom, six-person inner tent available for when you want to subdivide the space for a little more privacy.
HydroTex® Polycotton delivers top technical performance and comfort. The durable tight-weave fabric has a water repellent treatment that assists rain run off the tent walls. As the rain gets heavier, its fibres swell to form a waterproof seal. Its UV-inhibitor treatment helps it last for years with care. This superb breathable fabric maintains the tent’s microclimate by eliminating condensation and keeping the internal temperature cool in summer and warm when temperatures fall.;
- Sprung apex vent cowl is closed by pulling and locking off just two cords that run through integral channels. Simple and highly effective solution to controlling airflow.
- Alloy poles are light strong and durable.
- Zip in Groundsheet for optimum protection from the elements, dirt and insects and to ease housekeeping. Twin zips enable it to be folded away from the door to create a wet area.
- Guy Line Retainers hold folded guylines securely when packing away to avoid the nightmare of tangles and knots later.
