The Robens Voyager Versa Range of tents are seriously good. I know you will look at something like this and say "I can pick that up on Amazon for £30", well, you can't.... There are many pale imitations of the higher end tents on the market today and, just because they look similar, they are just not the same. The reason they are cheaper is simply because they will use inferior materials, poor levels of construction and are just no where near the same quality.
Robens have become a highly trusted company, especially for us, and it is for one reason - QUALITY. They are usually the first to innovate designs and all the small things that the layman will never notice (like stitching, zips, pole strengths etc.) and then some companies play on that and produce something that looks like it but simply isn't anywhere near the same quality.
HydroTex® HD RS fabric is made exclusively for Robens to address our uncompromising need for a light, strong, durable flysheet material. The tough 75-denier high density, PU-coated ripstop polyester has a 5,000mm hydrostatic head waterproof rating, UV-inhibitors and is fire retardant for safety. This fabric will withstand years of heavy use, no matter how harsh the conditions.
The four-person Versa 4 is a stable tunnel tent thanks to features that include the new ripstop polyester outer, flat pole sleeves and Yunan alloy poles. A side and front door provide access to the extended porch that’s perfect for storage or for foul weather relaxation. Two zips allow the front door to be poled out, or the whole front porch wall can be toggled back. The end rear panel can also be toggled back to reveal the inner tent for ultimate airing
- Hydrostatic Head 5000 mm: Shows the amount of water on 1 cm² before the water penetrates the coating.
- Strong, flexible and durable tape is glued and heat-sealed over flysheet seams for effective long-term waterproofing in this critical area.
- Guy Line Retainers hold folded guy lines securely when packing away to avoid the nightmare of tangles and knots later.
- The Robens Low Vent airflow system allows a healthy airflow through the tent for ventilation. It can be adjusted easily to reflect changing weather conditions.
- Storage pockets for inner doors mean they can be stashed away neatly to open up the space and avoid accidental damage.
