Savotta G-Hook Steel Buckle - 25mm
Bushcraft is all about making or adapting your kit and it was a bit of a no brainer to start offering a number of accessories and components to make your own slings, straps and attachments.
The G-Hook Buckles are perfect for attaching pouches or hip packs to your rucksack. Personally, I use them to mount a Savotta Askare to the front of my Kantamus 40 as an alternative to the PALS Mount Buckles.
In my opinion, G-Hook Buckles are the better option if you regularly switch between carrying your Askare on your pack and using it as a standalone waist pack. They allow you to detach the Askare in seconds, making the transition quick and effortless.
They also provide better compression, as the webbing straps can be tensioned more effectively, pulling the Askare tightly against the front of the Kantamus to minimise movement while you're on the move.
Finally, they're considerably more versatile and less fiddly if you like to reconfigure your setup. Whether you're swapping the Askare for a Hatka or changing to a smaller hip pack, G-Hook Buckles make it fast and easy without having to rethread PALS attachments each time.
