Savotta Kahakka Harness

This accessory just makes a lot of sense, Savotta are well known for their pretty indestructible packs and some other makes put on something that feels nice and soft and comfy in the shop when you buy it but then can't cope with a proper load and become really quite uncomfortable.

This is the complete shoulder strap assembly of the Kahakka backpacks, compatible with many of Savottas and others packs and backs due to the simple yet universal webbing and buckle attachment system. Includes left and right shoulder strap, bottom straps and sternum strap.

The outer side is 500D Cordura, the body side is stretchy Cordura Comfort, and between the two is a layer of relatively thin but properly dense 50 kg/m2 closed cell foam. These will not collapse and flatten under heavier loads, as some “softer and nicer” closed cell foams may do.

The 25 mm webbing is bartacked all the way through the shoulder straps at many points from end to end. The loops formed by the bartacks offer a means to securely attach the sternum strap, which can be moved up or down or removed entirely as desired.
