I've been wearing Sorbothane double strikes since I was a young soldier 25+ years ago, I continuously recommend them to everyone, £20ish may seem a lot but they'll save a ton of pain in the long run! it does seem to be worth getting the double strikes over the single strikes but i can comment on the other versions. Do change them periodically as they do wear out, which is much better than your knees wearing out!
