We are the UK's leader in bringing you the best quality certified cord and have done for many years. We used to source everything from the US as, to be frank, it was the best quality cord but not anymore.

The US manufactured cord is still a top quality product and we are happy to still stock it but it is time to source our cord from closer to home. We have strived to find the best quality cord on the planet and are REALLY happy we have not rested until we did. 

It is now under our own brand and we are very happy to put our name to it. It is all European made to the exacting and higher standards enforced by Europe and we know you will be happy with it.

Our 550 Paracord is exactly what you have come to expect from TBS; a European made, quality product. I didn't think we would ever shift production from the US to Europe but when you find the right product, made to the exacting standards of the EU, it was just a no brainer.

It is a 7 strand core, 250kg breaking strain paracord that is made in a great variety of colours and features a 32 strand outer sleeve, just as you have come to expect from quality paracord. It is 100% Nylon so don't confuse it with cheaper Polyester cord as it simply isn't the same. Polyester cord is just not as good as it is not the same certified breaking strain.

Paracord is one of the most versatile cords on the planet. It’s high-tech materials and construction enables it to be lightweight, strong, and compact. With an incredible 250kg tensile strength, paracord can easily perform tasks and jobs that other similar cords cannot. One of the most important design features of paracord is the 7 inner strands of core. By pulling out the internal strands you can turn 50ft into hundreds of feet of usable cordage. All these features make it the perfect rope to daily carry, whether it’s in your backpack, vehicle, garage, or in an apparel item.
