TBS Flame Cord - Coyote

TBS Flame cord is a great product to carry and replace cords and zip pulls on all your gear.

I know there are a lot of these types of products out there but we just wanted to keep it simple, You have the same outer as regular 550 Paracord but the core has been replaced with a water resistant tinder. It is a wax coated Jute which is an ideal tinder and features n one of our fire lighting kits, albeit in a larger form.

The outer is 100% Nylon in 32 strands and the cord has a breaking strain of 150kg so it is still a strong and usable piece of cordage. To use you simply cut a piece of cord, remove the inner piece of tinder, rough up the tinder piece to significantly increase the surface area and use a firesteel or ignition source to light the tinder.

Almost all outdoor gear has some sort of zip pull or cordage attached to it so why not replace it with flame cord? Of course, a paracord bracelet or necklace is always a great way to carry cordage and now it is combined with tinder it is an ideal Every Day Carry.

As long as you have some sort of ignition source you will always have a piece of tinder with you and significantly increases your ability to light a fire.
